Overview

Competitive robotics provides an environment where mechanical design, electronics, sensing, control algorithms and software development must work together under real constraints.

I am interested in robotics as a practical platform for teaching and experimenting with autonomous systems, real-time decision making, localization, motion control and integration of heterogeneous hardware and software components.

Focus areas

  • autonomous mobile robots
  • sensor integration
  • motion and trajectory control
  • localization and navigation
  • real-time software
  • testing under competition constraints
  • student development and experimentation
